After I last wrote, we spent many hours wrestling with my desktop PC, which has decided that it is against the idea of being used to record Bob Spelled Backwards songs. After 5 hours of tinkering, I finally got it up and going. Then it was too late to do any recording, but we did enjoy a lovely meal prepared by Kelley consisting of Cous Cous and chicken. After dinner, we wound up partaking of our semi-annual ritual which involves staying up all night exploring the universe. It was hard to resist, since we were presented with the 2 unique situations of a new moon, and the presence of Noctiluca, which are tiny bio-luminescent creatures that live in the sand, which we have nicknamed "Grit Witches". So, we reveled in the rare opportunity to be together and enjoy one another's creativity and insight. After viewing a lovely sunset pictured above and below, and enjoying Kelley's meal, we began.

Many times we laughed until we couldn't breathe. It's been years since I last came so close to dying from laughter. We probed one another's personal statuses to offer any help and guidance we possibly could. We shared music with one another, recommended books and movies. We were having too much fun to sleep. The next thing we knew, morning was fast approaching. Being a bunch that rarely sees the dawn, we decided to head down to the beach and take it in. Kari, Allan, Reuben, Mike and I made our way to the beach about 20 minutes before dawn.

Then, we stood and watched in utter disbelief as we witnessed perhaps the most beautiful morning any of us had ever seen.

To our amazement, a bunch of dolphins came swimming by, very close to shore.

Just when we thought we couldn't take any more, some deer came by.

All day Tuesday was spent in recovery mode. Much sleeping. We were all awakened in time to partake of Chris's famous steaks. Then we played games until the wee hours. Wednesday was more beach, more technical difficulties with the PC and more games. Today (Thursday) we finally got some tracks recorded, and welcomed Tom Clapham to our house! Tom just got here, so I should finish this up and visit with him. Hope you like the pictures!
