So what's all this Bobbery about?

Friday June 6, I drove 1181 miles to Fort Collins, Colorado. Once there, I hung out for a few days with seasoned Bobbian Mike Shaffer. After experiencing 4th edition Dungeons and Dragons and living la vida Colorado for four days, Mike and I got in my car, and started driving. 31 hours and 11 states later, we were in Greensboro, North Carolina. We visited with family for a day then got back in the car. We stopped to get some barbecue  where we met up with Chris, Kelley and Darby (the Mitchells). From there we formed a 3 car caravan for 5 hours until we arrived at Sunset Beach, NC. Already waiting there for us was Reuben, Josh and Allen. For the first time in 12 years, it's Bob. Everyone is here, except Jesse, whom for all we know has entered the witness protection program. Even his mother doesn't know how to find him.

For that first day, we could do little more than stand around staring in disbelief at one another. But, aside from that, we set up a state of the art recording rig, and many various implements of noise. After a ludicrously long walk on the beach after dark, we sat around giggling incoherently at one another until very late at night. Reluctantly surrendering to sleep and the end of day zero, we all drifted off to dreamland, serenaded by a massive thunderstorm.
