Hey, Mark... It's been years since I thought about this dream and all our discussions about it. I still don't have epic dreams, just the recurring nightmare about crawling through the tunnel. Darby's reading CS Lewis now, and I told her about the tunnel part and how it gave rise to that nightmare. She shares most of her dreams with me and even the scary ones are marvelous. I'm going to let her read this, so she'll get a feel for what an epic dream feels like. I AM having a tic of irony over the fact that even a mongoose needs a good chiropractor!
