Mark, what an ordeal with Sprint! I wish I could say it was unbelievable but in my line of work I hear about this sort of thing happening far too often. Still, to access you bank account without permission takes things to a new level. I hope you're with a carrier now that works for you rather than against you. Either way, I thought I'd drop a line mentioning that I work for the consumer advocacy division of the company Validas where we electronically audit and subsequently reduce the average cell bill by around 20 percent though our website, http://www.fixmycellbill.com. Put simply, Validas guards against frivolous and unnecessary charges. Although you've resolved these issues, as you pointed out, problems with wireless carriers can arise at anytime. Additionally, because you may have a good rate does not necessarily mean you have the best rate and you can find out for free if fixmycellbill.com can modify your plan to better suit your needs by going to the website. Sorry to keep plugging here, but your situation is the exact kind of thing that we are trying to prevent.
